A new generation of powerful boards has been designed by
noax Technologies AG which combines ruggedness, continuity,
and performance. The "All-In-One" motherboard N8 developed
by noax combines operational stability with performance. It
comes with active support of five years plus passive support
for another five years. With this, noax guarantee long-term
availability, as they do with all noax motherboards. Due to
its extremely rugged design and small dimensions (length
32.2 x width 20.2 x depth 2), the noax N8 is one of the
most powerful and at the same time, most compact
"All-In-One" motherboard platforms for industrial PCs
available on the European maket.
Highest Performance with a Minimum of Space
As a response to the call for higher and higher
performance, which was also demanded from stand-alone IPCs,
the "All-In-One" motherboard N8 comes equipped with an Intel
Pentium M 1.4 GHz processor. The low dissipation loss of
these processors allows them to be used in even the most
compact and, therefore, extremely space-saving enclosure
concepts. In addition, the memory can be upgraded up to 2
GB and the hard disk from 30 to 60 GB. The board's standard
equipment includes many on-board interfaces, such as 2 x
RS232 (optional RS 433 or 485, TTY), 5 x USB, network
Ethernet (RJ 45), LPT, monitor DVI, PS/2, and floppy disk
connections. Moreover, the N8 board offers various
expansion options via on-board slots for 2 x PCI slots,
Compact Flash Typ II, and MiniPCI sockets. The N8 also
possesses an integrated Intel 3D graphic controller (46
GB).

and Panel, are not only available with the time-tested
N6A/N6B "All-In-One" motherboard, but also with the N8C
"All-In-One" motherboard. All noax industrial PCs come with
standard equipment of resistive analog touch panels and
bright TFT displays with a resolution of 1024 x 768 and 430
cd/sq.m. noax industrial PCs are characterized by their
compact and rugged design with completely enclosed casings.
This feature makes all IPCs absolutely water- and dust-proof
and ensures that they comply with protection standard IP65
without reservation. Their design with metal spring
fixation of electronic components on the board and no loose
cables makes them extremely resistant to shock and
vibration. Increased operational stability is guaranteed by
the noax Micro-Controller which executes numerous monitoring
and control functions, e.g. fan speed, temperature
