The P12 industrial PC can be configured flexibly and was
designed specially for installation in switching cabinets
or control consoles. Its depth of only 70-85 mm and the
possibilty to mount the 12 inch IPC in 19 inch racks using
special installation frames make the P12 a multiple-use
Panel IPC. The distinctive feature of the Panel IPC is its
completely sealed construction without any ventilation
slots and failure-prone external fans. That is the reason
why extreme ambient conditions like dust, water, or
moisture do not present a problem at all for the noax P12.
As with all noax industrial PCs, special attention was
given to the particularly robust and reliable construction
of the P12. noax use only high-quality, industrial grade
components. The standard use of heavy-duty industrial
connector locks, the bolting of the processor heat sink to
the main board, and the consistent omission of
failure-prone components such as cables, protect the
industrial PC against extreme mechanical influences such as
shock or vibration. If necessary, especially shock-resistant
solid state disks can be fitted. With the use of
high-resolution, very bright 12 inch displays with a wide
reading angle the P12 guarantees optimum readability of the
display.
The P12 is characterized by maximum robustness, reliability, expandability, and performance, yet only requires minimum installation depth. The basis of this industrial PC is two different noax "All-In-One" boards. All noax motherboards are proprietary designs and are equipped with powerful Intel processors, various on-board interfaces plus a 10/100 MB Ethernet interface. In addition, the P12 can be upgraded at any time using the free standard PCI slots . This permits the simple, trouble-free integration of peripheral devices. The use of resistive touch screens ensures simple and safe operability. As an option, the displays can be protected with special acid and alkaline-resistant touch protective film.
The standard noax Micro-controller carries out numerous
monitoring, controlling and statistical tasks such as
temperature and backlight control or counting the operating
hours. The controller can be individually adapted to
customer requirements. Moreover, noax use approprietary
touch controller for automatic panel control and
readjustment. As an additional service, noax configure all
noax IPCs to meet specific customer demands within a
"ready-to-use" installation. All you need to do is switch
it on!
