15" Panel IPC: Simple Installation and High Scalability

The P15, a 15 inch industrial PC with a depth of only 93 mm, was specially designed for installation in control panels, control consoles, or racks. A special installation frame allows the P15 to be easily mounted in a 19 inch rack. Extreme ambient conditions such as dust, dirt or moisture, present no problem for the P15 with its IP 65 front protection. Depending on customer requirements, the Panel IPC can be equipped with different processor versions, operating systems or memory add-ons. Its many on-board interfaces allow the integration of a wide range of peripheral devices.

The P15: Designed for a Wide Range of Applications

The extremely robust construction of the P15 makes it highly reliable, even in continuous operation under the most extreme ambient conditions. The standard use of heavy-duty industrial connector locks plus the consistent omission of failure-prone components like switches and wiring harnesses protect this industrial PC against extreme mechanical influences like shock or vibration. The V2A stainless steel front as well as the standard noax rubber seal between the front panel and the TFT display make the unit very easy to clean and disinfect. This permits the P15 to be used under the most stringent demands on hygiene. As an option, special acid-resistant protective film are available to protect the displays.

User-friendly through Touch Panels and High-Resolution Displays

noax Technologies AG pay special attention to the user-friendliness of their industrial PCs under tough practical conditions. For that reason, the P15 is also equipped with an integrated touch panel. Due to its high accuracy, even small keys can be operated with protective gloves. The resistive touch screen used by noax has a service life of up to 100 million activations at one point and is up to four times more resistant to breakage than other commonly used panels. In addition, the use of a high-resolution 15 inch display (1024x768) permits a very wide viewing angle. This ensures optimum readability of the display even under extremely poor ambient conditions.

The noax Micro-Controller – Enhanced Reliability

The noax Micro-Controller installed as standard in all noax industrial PCs automatically performs numerous monitoring, controlling and statistical tasks such as temperature and backlight control or counting the operating hours. The controller can be adapted to individual customer requirements. Moreover, noax use a proprietary touch controller for automatic panel control and readjustment. Another service option provided by noax is the configuration of any industrial PC to specific customer demands within a "ready-to-use" installation. All you need to do is switch it on!
