The S15 is characterized by its polished V2A stainless steel enclosure with absolutely smooth surfaces. The use of specially beveled, food safe rubber seals between enclosure and 15 inch touch display means that this noax IPC has no more hidden slots and joints. It therefore complies with the strict demands on hygiene that prevail in clinical areas, in chemical and pharmaceutical laboratories or in food processing. Due to its fully enclosed design without ventilation slots and external fans, the S15 is completely splash-proof and so achieves compliance with protection standard IP65 / NEMA4.

The S15 – Designed for Highest Hygiene Requirements

The S15, with its polished V2A stainless steel enclosure, its completely sealed design without any ventilation slots and failure-prone external fans, was specially developed for applications with the highest demands on hygiene. Its robust, compact design and the use of heavy-duty connector locks protect the industrial touch panel PC from extreme mechanical and chemical hazards such as vibration, shock, dust, acids, or alkaline solutions. As an option, the touch displays can have different acid- or alkali-resistant and easily removable touch protection film affixed to them. That way, the 15 inch stainless steel IPC can be individually adapted to a wide range of production environments.

Sophisticated Technology with simplest Operability

The S15 shines by its sophisticated climate management. Despite its completely sealed construction and the omission of external fans, the S15 provides maximum power, compatibility, and expandability coupled with extreme robustness. Depending on the requirements, the S15 can be supplied with one of two different noax "All-In-One" boards. Intel Pentium Processors with clock frequencies of up to 1.4 GHz, the comprehensive range of onboard interfaces and the Ethernet card plus many upgrade options, e.g. with PCI, permit the connection of various peripheral devices such as identification, weighing or packing systems. The standard S15 equipment includes high-contrast touch displays which ensure excellent readability and operability.

The noax Micro-Controller – Enhanced Reliability

The noax Micro-Controller installed as standard in all noax industrial PCs automatically carries out numerous monitoring, controlling, and statistical tasks such as temperature and backlight control or counting the operating hours. The controller can be adapted to individual customer demands. Moreover, noax use a proprietary touch controller for automatic panel control and readjustment. Another service option provided by noax is the configuration of all industrial PCs to suit specific customer demands within a "ready-to-use" installation. All you need to do is switch it on!
