Error Messages of N6 (P6) (LED Display)
When an error occurs, the integrated MCU issues an LED
error message which gives more detailed information on the
kind of error. As soon as the error LED is illuminated
permanently, the LEDs OK, INPUT, and PWR lose their normal
functions and show an error code. Please note this error
code down and inform the noax service department.

1) Input voltage too high / too low:
As soon as the unit is supplied with power, the input
voltage is monitored. If this is already faulty at this
stage, the unit cannot be switched on. In this case, please
check the external desk power supply or the electric
circuit that supplies the unit with power. If the input
voltage exceeds the normal range during operation, the unit
will turn itself off, too.
2) Internal system temperature too high / too low:
If the internal system temperature is too low, the unit
cannot be switched on, or it automatically switches off to
prevent waterdrops forming inside the unit (dew
protection). If the internal system temperature is too
high, the unit cannot be switched on, either. If the
temperature rises too high during operation, the unit will
first switch to another mode of operation with the least
possible heat generation. For this, the backlight is
dimmed, amongst others. This mode of operation is indicated
bya flashing ERROR-LED zu erkennen. If this occurs, please
check if there is sufficient air circulation at the
corrugated rear panel and make sure that the unit is not
covered by objects. After the temperature has fallen again,
the unit automatically switches back to normal operation;
however, should the temperature keep rising, the unit
switches off completely and can only be switched on again
after suffcient cooling down.
Special cases:
-
ERROR LED flashes:
The internal temperature of the unit is too high; if it
rises any further, the unit will be switched off. At this
stage, the backlight will be dimmed permanently to lower
heat-buildup.
-
OK LED flashes, ERROR LED off:]] The unit utilizes standard
settings for MCU Setup, because the default jumper is set.
