Notes on Touch Driver Installation under Windows
Concerns MS Operating Systems Windows95, Windows98, NT4,
Windows2000, and WindowsXP
Before installing the touch driver, please observe the
following hints:
-
Of great importance is the correct setting of Com ports in
BIOS and the verification that the interface in the
operating system does exist.
-
Please install the current version of the touch driver; this
can be downloaded from our
download
area
. (Login required for touch
driver download ! )
-
Please install the driver first using the standard settings.
These should then be modified as follows:
Protocol: SC3
serial, Comport: COM4, 9600 baud 8N1
-
After installation, you will see a small monitor symbol in
the system tray next to the clock. Doubleclick on this to
open the properties page of the touch driver where you can
set the protocol and the Com parameters.
-
If all settings have been checked and correctly set, the
touch will react to contact, and the pointer will move
accordingly.
-
The touch driver has to be
calibrated
to ensure it works
correctly. This can also be done from the properties page
of touch driver settings.
