To be able to get an RF connection for the noax IPCs within an access point's RF cell you need a Wireless Network Card. This Wireless Network Card is mounted inside the noax IPC. The antenna is at the top of the noax terminal.
The wireless network card connects the noax terminal wireless into local networks (LANs) and guarantees superior coverage and high data rates. A standard PCI board with noax terminal antenna or external antenna replaces a traditional LAN adapter. This RF LAN adapter powered by the noax ipc needs the access point base station. This makes the noax terminal mobile.
