Serial Interfaces for N6

Serial COM ports are integrated on the N6 board. There are interface modules for conversion into each specific interface.

RS232P

This module RS232P is a standard RS232C-I/O (V24). A jumper can provide, instead of the DTR signal, 5V or 12V at the interface. This DC voltage can be used for external equipment such as readers, etc.

RS422/485DP

This is a RS422/RS485 differential voltage interface without control lines. In addition there is a 5V and 12V DC output. These voltages can be used for external equipment such as readers, etc.

TTY/20 mA

The TTY current interface has transmit, receive and control lines. Every line can be active or passive.

Besides these interfaces, special or additional interfaces can be connected into the free ISA/PCI slot
