For increased data security during mobile data collection with the picking PCs, a consistent power supply without voltage fluctuations is essential. These fluctuations can particularly occur when starting vehicles or transporting loads to higher shelf levels. noax picking PCs optionally offer the option of being equipped with an uninterruptible power supply (UPS). This ensures that the picking computer functions stably during power fluctuations, allowing for uninterrupted work. The integrated UPS from noax thus increases reliability in mobile logistics applications and protects against data loss and operational interruptions.

Wireless radio connection via internal or external antennas and the noax RFID reader, which is available with numerous standards such as Hitag™, Maifare ® and Legic ®, enable comfortable working with the forklift terminal. The stable housing and the consistent lack of moving parts ensure maximum shock, impact and vibration resistance (5M3 S&V certified).

Thanks to the completely enclosed design in accordance with protection standard IP66, the RFID reader is protected all around (360 degrees) against extreme environmental conditions such as dust, water or moisture. Its direct integration facilitates ergonomic workplace design – data can be read quickly and easily.

High ease of use thanks to service USB

The easy and quickly accessible USB port on the forklift terminal makes it possible to load data from a USB device or to connect an additional peripheral device (if activated).

This USB port is closed by a completely sealed rubber cover with protection class IP66. Double security: Even if the cover is lost or not closed correctly, neither water nor dirt can get into the interior of the forklift terminal.

The noax picking PC can be equipped with a range of features. These include, for example, mobile communications or WLAN, which enables secure mobile data capture and transmission. The internal and external WLAN antennas are the basis for the picking terminals to receive and provide data in real time.

Mobile Safety functions ensure greater work safety by transmitting signals directly from the forklift to the panel PC. This makes it possible to switch the logistics terminal on and off using the ignition key switch. To increase the driver’s focus and therefore safety, the screen can also be darkened while driving.

Extended temperature range

For use in cold storage facilities or in outdoor areas, the vehicle PC can be equipped with an extended temperature range. The use of specially tested components makes use in areas from minus 30° Celsius to plus 55° Celsius possible. Extensive tests ensure reliability even at extreme temperatures. This makes the noax vehicle PC the perfect computer for difficult climatic conditions.
